What is a Safety and Health Audit?
A safety and health audit is an audit which focuses on some or all aspects of safety and health. It is an evidence-based review undertaken to determine whether safety and health legislation, Regulations, company policies and agreed standardised practice and procedures are being adequately complied with.
Logue & O’Connor can provide an independent assessment of your safety and health management system. The safety and health audit will be undertaken and completed by a competent safety and health practitioner. The audit will identify, through a written detailed report, any hazards identified and provide recommendations on eliminating, reducing or controlling these hazards in accordance with Schedule 3 (General Principles of Prevention) to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and other relevant statutory provisions.
